Office Aliens Book 3, The Security Guy, Anna and Khy’s story, is live!
This is the first book I’m publishing as a full-time writer!
I’ve been writing it for months! At least six months if not longer. It’s my longest book yet at 111,153 words, which is almost 400 pages of a printed book. I sure hope I don’t break that record any time soon, phew.
I loved Anna and Khy. They took me on such a journey. They progressed so much as characters from the start of their book to the end. I didn’t think I’d know what to do with myself when I published, but the despicable editing process made me glad to see the back of them, which I suppose is good. Now I’ll be taking a break for a week or two before starting in on Ruth & Gron 5.
I loved making them fight. I loved making them fall in love. This book also deals more closely with the subtle prejudices and behaviours the Teissians face, as well as the less subtle ones. And I assure you, Anna’s obsession with tea is 100% accurate! Ask any English person and they will tell you Liptons sucks.
I have to give a shout-out to Chelsea Tang. I hope she doesn’t mind me using her name. She fixed my cover for me, for free! She got really into it, paying a lot of attention to detail, and spent two weeks patiently dealing with me. I can only thank her again. Look at that excellent scale-work, people! I asked and she doesn’t take commissions so I won’t be posting a contact link here, but all the credit goes to her!
I hope you enjoy the book. I hope it rocks your world. I hope you forgive them both for being assholes sometimes, and I hope you think they’re as perfect together as I do.
